The Board of Directors of NARSA The International Heat Transfer Association and IDEA International Diesel Emissions Association announces the appointment of Nathan Ingrao as Executive Director effective January 1, 2025.

Nathan has 8 years of experience in the Heavy Duty Automotive Industry where he specialized in OEM and Independent Aftermarket Sales at TitanX prior to joining the NARSA Team as the Executive Assistant in September 2024. As Executive Director, he will manage day-to-day operations of the organization that is known for its industry leading events, Cooling Journal publication, and networking opportunities.

“I am absolutely thrilled to be joining the NARSA/IDEA team as Executive Director. It is an honor to be able to assume this position and lead an organization with such a robust member base and storied history,” said Nathan Ingrao. “I look forward to building upon the great work Mark and Sandy Taylor have done during their tenure and leading the organization into the future.”

Mark Taylor has been the Executive Director of NARSA/IDEA since 2019. He graduated from Wesley College before starting his own radiator repair business in 1981. He later owned and operated ERS Cooling Systems in Glen Burnie, Maryland for 36 years. He served as President of NARSA from 2014-2016, then Chairman of NARSA from 2016-2018 before becoming the Executive Director in 2019.

“We have spent the last few months training Nathan in the financial and operating systems of NARSA,” said Mark Taylor. “Along with Linda Skoglund and Roland Ewert, Nathan will have a great team to be able to continue the successes of the association. The great thing about having new people is getting new ideas. This is an exciting time for NARSA as youth and newness will provide a catalyst for new ideas which will improve the association. Sandy and I have no doubt the staff of NARSA will be successful in implementing the wishes of the Board of Directors.”

“It is my pleasure to introduce Nathan Ingrao as the new Executive Director of NARSA/IDEA,” said NARSA/IDEA President Corey Roppel. “Nathan has previously served on the Board of Directors and brings invaluable experience and new energy to the association. I'd also like to thank Mark and Sandy Taylor for their dedication in managing NARSA/IDEA for the last 5 years. Thanks to their leadership the association was able to navigate the pandemic and maintain NARSA/IDEA's mission of One Idea, One Opportunity, and One Connection. I wish them a very happy retirement!"
