West End Radiators Opens New Copper-Brass Core Manufacturing

August 8, 2025, Winnipeg, MB Canada - West End Radiators (West End Rad) has officially opened its brand new heavy-duty copper-brass core manufacturing plant. For the last 20 years, West End Rad has been manufacturing a variety of copper and brass/steel cores in-house at their Winnipeg, Manitoba shop. This new manufacturing department is the largest of its kind in Western Canada.

Their new heavy-duty copper-brass core manufacturing plant has a lot of new features, including:

• Being the largest facility of its kind in Western Canada

  • With a 4,000 sq ft. plant and state-of-the-art equipment, including a CNC press, allowing for accurate and precise brass radiator headers.

• Having new heavy-duty copper-brass machinery

  • Brand new fin tables allow the team to increase their work capacity and offer faster turnaround times.

• Providing a cleaner work environment 

  • New and improved ventilation reduces smokes, providing a healthier work space for the West End Rad mfg. Team.

West End Rad can build a custom copper-brass/steel core built to your exact specifications as well as recore your existing copper radiator core. They manufacture the following copper-brass heavy duty replacement parts for :

• Bolt-on radiators

• Brass headers

• Custom fibre flex gaskets

• Heavy-duty gaskets for bolt-on rads
