Mark Taylor to be Inducted to NARSA’s Hall of Fame
Longtime NARSA member Mark Taylor will be recognized at the 2026 Spring Conference in Minnesota as a Hall of Famer. The Cooling Systems Hall of Fame represents the highest recognition of exceptional service to the association, the industry, and to society.
“Mark’s record of leadership, innovation, and integrity over more than four decades makes him an ideal candidate for this distinction,” said Bobby Duran of Cooling Systems Caribe. “The NARSA Cooling Systems Hall of Fame exists to honor those whose contributions extend far beyond personal and professional achievement—those who have left a lasting mark on the association, the industry, and society. Mark Taylor is the very embodiment of this standard.”

“This award is more than deserved,” said NARSA President Corey Roppel. “Since my time on the Board, I have gotten to know Mark well. He is truly an inspiration and a legend in our industry. Mark is nothing but class, and he is a mentor to many NARSA members. Over the years Mark built a top-notch business that he successfully sold, then he became the NARSA Executive Director. Mark took charge of the restructure, and NARSA would not be where it is today without Mark.”
“As a leader, Mark possesses the rare ability to balance vision with execution. He not only imagined what the industry and the association could become, but he also worked tirelessly to put the structures in place to achieve it,” said Duran. “His decision to take on the role of Executive Director at a time when NARSA faced financial hardship and declining membership is a testament to his selflessness and sense of duty. Rather than enjoy a well-earned retirement, he and his wife Sandy created a team that stepped in to ensure the survival of an organization that had shaped his professional life and the lives of so many others.”
